As an owner with Amz Getaways owners can have spontaneous trips and weekend getaways. With long-term rentals, your home is never available to you, your friends, or family. A vacation home is always available for you, your friends, and your family (provided it’s not already reserved). Our owner representatives make reserving your own vacation simple and easy. (Fine Print: We ask you to leave major holidays, and peak season open if possible to maximize profitability)

HDR Photography

Each property is professionally photographed and staged with your existing furnishings. Once a listing agreement is entered Amz will schedule a photography session and provide a worksheet to properly prepare the listing.

No Long Term Commitments 

While retaining homeowners through our excellent service and proven financial results is our goal, and not long-term agreements. If you aren’t happy with our performance, you can stop renting your home with us at any time with notice. We ask that you honor any future reservations on the calendar and give the property team some time to wind down the marketing.

How do I request a change or update to my listing?

Does Amz Getaways have a requirement for photos?

Amz Getaways believes professional photos are one of the keys for success for a high-performing listing that generates inquiries. Amz has established a series of their photography requirements for our vacation rental listings. Amz requires all photos be in the highest definition possible with the ability to capture the layout of properties while capturing the outdoor views many of our properties are known for. All of our photos must adhere to our photography guidelines.

How do I request a change or update to my listing?

Does Amz have calendar requirements?

Guests have the ability to check real-time calendar availability and book your property through Amz’s website. Amz will instantly confirm bookings received into our system, and as part of our owner agreement homeowners need to keep Amz updated on homeowner bookings stipulated in Amz’s Agreement. The homeowner agrees to honor Amz’s bookings in the event of calendar conflicts and/or double bookings.

How do I make an owner booking?

Owner’s reservations must be made in writing (e-mail. Read receipt is fine), and confirmed by Amz. Amz will not cancel reservations for owner’s to stay after the rental has been paid for. An owner may update the property availability calendar(s) to reflect bookings, maintenance blocks, etc., at any time via email provided that it follows the agreement between the owner and Amz. 

How does Amz Getaways establish vacation rental rates?

Amz performs an in-depth vacation rental comparative market analysis or CMA in establishing the best nightly rates for your home. We will consult with you prior to going live to get approval on the rates, and the owner has the final authority in establishing the rates within the owner agreement. Owners can also able to request a rate review by emailing info(at)amzgetaways.com, and one of our staff will coordinate with the owner’s request.

How does Amz Getaways handle lodging taxes?

Amz will retain and remit lodging taxes collected in the state, city, and county. More than likely homeowners or their managers are required to collect hotel occupancy taxes from guests who book the properties. These taxes are established by city, county, and state agencies often referred to as occupancy, lodging, hotel, transient, accommodation or room taxes. Amz will take care of filling and paying lodging taxes on your behalf in most markets, and will need to know if you have any special agencies or districts that require lodging tax payments.

When guests inquire about your home they will receive prompt responses via email and phone from one of our friendly, knowledgeable guest representatives. Amz has systems in place to continually follow up with guests to ensure that we get the bookings.

  3. Make timely repairs, and keep the property in advertised condition.
  4. Guaranty that property is not in an HOA or deed restricted community that does not permit vacation rentals
  5. Allow bookings for major holidays and peak season

How long have you been in business?

Amz Getaways, LLC. began as New Braunfels Getaways in 2008 and created Amz Getaways in 2012, and we currently own 145 Domains pertaining to Real Estate, and Travel. We needed a vacation rental company that would work with us to provide quality vacation homes and experiences for our clients, but not finding one we created our own.  We found there to be a great need for a quality property management company and soon began New Braunfels Getaways. As a side note, many of the first owners we signed in 2008 are still with us!

Amz Getaways or its owners do not own any competing vacation rental homes. We don’t compete or funnel business to personal property because we don’t own any. Many competitors do own one or more vacation rental properties, and make sure their properties see a large number of bookings.
