No Wedding Parties, Pre- Wedding parties, or large groups are permitted unless authorized by Amz Getaways prior to rental if permitted subject to an event fee ( Amz determines event fee). Now for the rest of the story.... Hamus Hill House is a spacious home with an eye-popping 180-degree view of Canyon Lake and the beautiful Texas Hill Country from every room in the home. Our totally remodeled home offers a fully equipped kitchen and Coffee Bar, open concept dining and a living room with a large flat-screen TV that has Roku Internet TV, Netflix, and more, a large master suite with an en-suite bathroom, and an adjoining sitting room. The downstairs includes 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, as well as access to the unfinished garage, where the game tables are located. The owners added the games to their home for their enjoyment and decided to let the renters enjoy them also. Have fun feeding corn to the deer in the tiered front yard, and by the way, they like apples too! Lounge outdoors on one of the porches, your choice of upstairs or down, or enjoy the scenery from the backyard deck. You will enjoy outdoor dining and gathering around the fire pit during the evening and roasting s’mores. Please understand our property is located in the Texas Hill Country and the outdoor areas can be unlevel with rocky walking surfaces. Because this home is built into the side of the hill, there are multiple steps and stairs on the property.
From the Owner: Our home has an extremely strict quiet hours policy. Absolutely no loud voices or music between the hours of 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM. We maintain this policy to be kind and respectful to our great neighbors. If you are planning on being rowdy or hosting a party, then our place is not for you.
We only allow six (6) people to stay in our home. You must be 25 years or older to rent with us!
New Braunfels and Gruene, have a vibrant historic district with numerous restaurants, your choice of shopping and entertainment venues is within easy driving distance. The Guadalupe River, great for tubing, kayaking, fishing, and swimming is just 15 minutes away. Located in our neighborhood, Canyon Lake Forest is Boat Ramp 5 and Comal Park, both of which are about 5 minutes away. Cranes Mill Marina, offering an abundance of water sports is nearby, as well. Although outdoor recreation, dining, shopping, and winery tours are within easy reach, you may find you never want to leave this tranquil and bright sanctuary above the fray of everyday life. The kitchen is equipped with stainless-steel appliances and a wide range of dining cookware as well as both island seating and a full dining table and chair seating for 6. Coffee, spices, and other essential items are provided for your convenience. Master Bedroom Suite– Main Floor: includes a King bed, separate en-suite bathroom, and large serene sitting room
Guest Bedroom #1- 1st floor: includes a queen bed and shared bathroom + Flat-screen TV Guest Bedroom #2- 1st floor: includes two (2) twin beds and a shared bathroom. Multiple Decks covered and uncovered Outdoor propane grill, dining area, and outdoor fire Pit, seating for six (6) Free Wi- Fi with Internet TV access to Netflix Ample parking is available on the Garage side (left side) and right side of the house. Circular parking at the bottom of the property is Easy- On and Easy- Off parking for most smaller boats. Board Games Foosball table, shuffleboard.
Maximum occupancy is six (6) (non-negotiable) – children are welcome We want to ensure your stay at Hamus Hill is comfortable. Please reach out with any questions you may have. We manage other properties in the area, so we have personnel close by. The renter of the home will need to be 25 or older and stay the entire length of the stay.
